Traci Bautista began making clothes, doodling, lettering and doing "artsy" things at a young age. She now combines all of these passions in her vibrantly colored handmade journals and paintings that are layered with rich textures of stained papers, painted sewn fabric, "girlie glam" ink drawings and free style lettering. Her love for art, led her to leave a career in high-tech marketing to pursue her life-long dream of starting a business and making art full time. Traci is creative director and owner of treiC Designs. She designs, [koL LäJ] girlie glam, an eclectic line of hand painted  papers, handmade journals, custom invitations and aRt! kits for bookmaking. She teaches at art retreats throughout the country and private workshops at her aRt! loft in Fremont, California, where she lives with her two little Yorkies, "Freedom" and "trei*trei". Her artwork has been  featured in Somerset Studio, cloth.paper.scissors and various books. Look for her book Collage Unleashed to be released July 2006!
