Lisa Engelbrecht is a lettering artist and instructor in calligraphy and taught at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California where she instituted a Certificate in Calligraphy program. Lisa now teaches workshops and classes around the US specializing in lettering on fabric, experimental lettering and the creative process. Lisa has been a member of the faculty for six international lettering conferences and also teaches at collage and alternative arts conferences. Her work is featured in Artist’s Journals and Sketchbooks by Lynne Perella and Quilted Memories by Lesley Riley. The Winter 2004 issue of Quilting Arts also featured her work on its cover. Lisa will be an instructor at the Legacies 2005 conference this summer in Dallas, Texas. She’ll also be teaching at Art and Soul East, Art Unraveled and ArtFest 2006.
