Treasure Hunt Tassle

This fabulous tassel is a serendipitous creation made from 98% ArtFiberFest '"treasures" that includes a simple basket weaving technique, fiber wrapping, free form bead work, basic embroidery, and basic tassel construction. The 3 main sources you will gather/purchase materials (as well as give in return) will be at fiber fest from the Art Asylum room, swaps and vendor night (these are explained in your package for the "new attendees")and this is where the "treasure hunt" comes in. You will be given a general list of materials you need to " hunt" down at Art Fiber Fest (but not exclusive to) making your unique tassel. You will be amazed at how everything comes together! The other 2% will be controlled by you to bring treasures from home. This makes for a minimum of materials to schlep! Yippee!

Robin is a creative free spirit living in S. California with her ultra supportive husband and daughter. For several years she has held monthly workshops on fiber arts, jewelry making and rubberstamping at her studio in Torrance and local paper art stores and is also a professional belly dancer! She has officially crowned herself "therubberstampinbellydancer" and has a reputation for energetic, fun and inspirational workshops!
